Wow. I wish this were all true. But the extraordinary lift required to market one’s creations and cut through the exceedingly noisy marketplace of content will require creators to build organizations that market and sell while distribution is handled by platforms taking their cut. And data on Patreon et al suggest very few people re able to actually make a living solely on platforms. The creator movement is real. So is the need for teams, processes, and nimble “institutions”.
